1. Overview
This Policy describes the cookies and similar technologies (browser local storage and session storage) used on hobs.space, in the Hob's Space application and on the public pages and websites hosted by Hob's Space. It is published by HOBS SPACE FZ-LLC.
A cookie is a small file stored on your device when you visit a website. Trackers that are not strictly necessary for the service you request are only set with your consent.
2. Your choice
- A banner offers “Accept” or “Refuse”, with equal prominence. No consent-based tracker is set before you choose, or if you refuse.
- The choice is global: there is no per-category setting.
- Your choice is kept for 6 months (hs_consent cookie), after which you are asked again.
- You can change it or withdraw your consent at any time via the “Manage cookies” link in the footer of the website and of public pages.
- Refusing does not prevent you from using the website or public pages.

Events from visitors who consented may be sent by our servers to PostHog (EU hosting); no PostHog cookie is set in your browser.
5. Browser local storage
Hob's Space also uses the browser’s local storage (localStorage) and session storage (sessionStorage), for strictly necessary or preference purposes:

6. Audience measurement without consent
Without consent, visits to public pages are measured without cookies: only the country is derived from the IP address, locally (DB-IP database, no data sent to that provider). This data is neither shared nor combined with other processing and is only used to produce aggregate statistics for the page owner. This set-up is designed to meet the consent exemption conditions defined by the CNIL (French data protection authority).
7. Users’ public pages and websites
Link in bio pages are published by our Users; the trackers described above apply to them and the “Manage cookies” link appears in their footer.
Websites (microsites) use cookieless audience counting; a simple information notice is displayed.
During a payment, Stripe sets its own fraud-prevention cookies.
8. Embedded third-party content
Some pages embed content from third-party services chosen by their owner (videos, music, social media posts, maps). These services may set their own trackers, which are governed by their privacy policies.
10. Changes
This Policy may change, in particular when features are added. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of the page.
