This Privacy Policy (hereinafter the “Policy”) explains how Hobs Space collects, uses, stores and protects personal data of users and visitors of the platform, in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Payments are processed by third-party providers (including Stripe). Hobs Space never stores full payment card details.

Hobs Space acts as a technical platform and is not responsible for content published by users.

Hobs Space acts as data controller for the data necessary to operate the Service. Users remain responsible for the personal data they choose to make public.

Hobs Space uses cookies and similar technologies.

8. Third-party services and integrations

The Service may integrate third-party services (e.g., Google Analytics, PostHog, YouTube, Spotify, Instagram).

These services may collect data in accordance with their own privacy policies.

Hobs Space has no control over processing carried out by such third parties.

8.1 YouTube Integration

Hobs Space uses the YouTube Data and YouTube Analytics APIs (YouTube API Services provided by Google LLC) to let Users connect their YouTube channel and display their public videos, playlists and statistics on their Hobs Space page.

When connecting via Google OAuth, Hobs Space requests two read-only permissions: youtube.readonly and yt-analytics.readonly. No write, upload or modify permission is requested — Hobs Space cannot publish videos, post comments, or modify your YouTube content.

Data retrieved:

  • public channel identifier and information (name, avatar, description, link),
  • list of public videos and public playlists,
  • public channel statistics (subscribers, total views),
  • read-only aggregated YouTube analytics reports (views, subscribers, aggregated metrics).
  • OAuth access tokens are encrypted and stored securely. The retrieved data is cached and refreshed periodically. No YouTube data is shared with any third party.
  • The User can revoke access at any time from Hobs Space (Settings → Integrations → Disconnect YouTube) or directly from the "Apps with access to your account" page of their Google account (https://myaccount.google.com/permissions).
  • Hobs Space's use of the YouTube APIs is governed by the YouTube API Services Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms) and the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).

9. Data recipients

Personal data may be shared with:

  • technical service providers (hosting, payment, analytics),
  • public authorities when required by law.
  • These providers are subject to contractual confidentiality and security obligations.

10. International data transfers

As part of its international activities, Hobs Space may transfer personal data outside the European Union.

Where necessary, appropriate safeguards are implemented, including:
